Upper Newport Bay is the largest ocean wetland in southern California. Up to 35,000 migratory birds will stop here as they migrate up and down the coast of California, making this an excellent spot for birding. On this trip you will paddle through grasslands and sagebrush and past coastal bluffs all while being serenaded by birds.
