Hartman Rocks is a very unique area to mountain bike. The terrain is made up of interesting granite formations, slickrock, sand and sage. This route travels through hilly terrain and sagebrush around the perimeter of Hartman Rocks. It also follows part of the course for Gunnison’s annual mountain bike race. There are some challenging rocky and sandy sections with endless spur trails to explore.
