North of the old mining town of Tulluride is a trail that loops along the forested hills between Butcher and Cornet Creeks and through open meadows with incredible views of the nearby rugged peaks and tumbling waterfalls, this is the Jud Weibe Memorial Trail. The trail is in memory of a forest service employee who designed the trail. Dogs are permitted, but must be on a leash.
