This route is a perfect spring snow climb/ski that is fairly easy for a 14er. It ascends up the southeast side through the steep Dolly Varden Gully. Depending on snow conditions you may have to walk or ski up to the trailhead if the road is closed. Don't plan on skiing if the gully is not fully covered with snow. Beware of water flowing under the snow which makes dangerous conditions. Crampons are recommending if you are just hiking.
