The Rio Grande River is the second largest river in the United States stretching 1,887 miles long. Hogback Mountain begins in a canyon and then drops into a broad and scenic valley. The whitewater in the canyon is fun with many rollercoaster waves. They are usually class II but can be class III during high flows.
