Roaring Fork River is a free-flowing river that moves quickly into the Colorado River. This is the lowest section of the river to paddle and has larger flows and a longer paddling season. The river meanders through ranches and open farmland. Near the bottom is Cemetery Rapid that is .25 miles of class II and III whitewater before the river flows into the town of Glenwood Springs and the confluence of the Colorado River.
