This short and easy scenic hike is located in Blodgett Open Space Preserve. The trail follows a dirt road through scrub oak and ponderosa pine up to a water tank where it then follows a narrow footpath through a shady drainage basin back to the trailhead. On this hike you'll find views of Blodgett Peak, Colorado Springs, and interesting geological formations that are scattered throughout the park. The area is home to two peregrine falcons that were released into the wild from Eagle Peak.
