On this paddling adventure you can expect to see Powers Lake display its forested hillsides, shrubbery laden shoreline and abundant wildlife. The shore is thick with a variety of trees including, red, white and chestnut oak, alder, black gum, birch, red maple and white cedar. Other flora you will see are mountain laurel, blueberry and other shrubs. Wildlife that may be seen on this trip include snakes, painted turtles, spotted turtle (rare) and stinkpot turtles.
