Buster Island is located in Kissimmee State Park and is surrounded on all sides by three lakes and the waterways that feed them. The state park is home to lots of diverse habitats including beautiful old-growth live oak hammock. This loop hike around Buster Island takes visitors through the diverse terrain and offers lots of solitude and opportunity for wildlife viewing. The trail is very flat and fairly easy to follow, and there is a primitive campsite located along the trail for hikers interested in making the trip an overnighter.
