This loop ride travels past some fun and scenic points of interest in southern Louisiana near the city of Houma. The popular Wilderness Gardens is an interesting area of cypress swamp where lots of diverse wildlife and plantlife can be seen. The town of Gibson is another nice resting spot that offers some good dining options. The ride back follows Bull Run Road which is a calm and pleasant roadway that travels through mostly rural areas with some historic plantation sites along the way. The traffic does increase as you near the city of Houma.
