This ride follows a section of the Great River Road on the west side of the Mississippi River and takes riders past the scenic Sunshine Bridge and to the site of the historic Oak Alley Plantation. The scenery for most of the route is very rural with views of the Mississippi for the entire ride. The terrain is very flat with mild traffic most of the way. There are lots of other historic sites and points of interest along the Mississippi past the turnaround at Oak Alley Plantation for riders who want to add a little more mileage.
