Beech Hill Preserve is located in the western Penobscot Bay Region and offers scenic views of the Penobscot Bay area from a bald hilltop. The short hike follows an old dirt road to the hilltop where hikers can enjoy panoramic views of the area as well as great opportunity for birdwatching. There is also the Beech Nut stone hut located on the very top of the hill that is an interesting point of interest. Additional trails leads off from the hill towards the south providing additional hiking opportunity.
