China Lake is located less than 20 miles northwest of Augusta and offers miles of scenic shoreline for paddlers to explore. The freshwater lake consists of two main basins with access sites on both. This paddling trip explores the west half of the lake which offers more undeveloped shoreline. The public access offers parking and a launch.
