Echo Lake is one of the major lakes located in the Winthrop Lakes Region that offers miles of scenic shoreline for paddlers to enjoy. The lake is situated in a rural area and is surrounded by lots of wooded terrain with some rural development. There is a public launch located on the northernmost end with parking and a ramp.
