The Ellis River is a stillwater stream that flows through the hilly countryside of western Maine, offering paddlers a relaxing and scenic trip option. The trip begins in Andover and ends just before the confluence with the Androscoggin River. The put-in and take-out are both at bridges over the river with no launching facilities and limited parking.
