Mooselookmeguntic Lake is the fourth largest lake in Maine and located near the New Hampshire border. Due to its size and limited boat access sites one will need to consider camping options if wanting to explore the lake fully. Homes and cabins line most of the eastern shore while the western side is more wilderness. The lake has a mixture of large open water and island areas that all can be hazardous for paddlers during bad or windy weather. Cupsuptic Lake is attached to the north and can also be paddled if desired.
