Parker Pond is known for its clear waters and many islands. Stretching north to south, there are miles of shoreline to paddle along, but due to its size, windy weather can cause dangerous water conditions for paddlers - so be sure to go when weather is calm. Access to the water is in the northeastern cove where roadside parking is available and a boat ramp across the street. Although there are several homes and cabins lining the banks, the heavy tree line hides much of them from sight.
