These two ponds (Upper Pierce and Pierce) are tucked away in a remote spot of Maine. The good news of being remote is that it will discourage some from making the trip. The two ponds are connected by a small stream that may require portaging over beaver dams. Since this area is large it could take more than one day to paddle its entirety and so there are campsites available, but typically don't allow fires. The gate guarding the boat launch at Lindsay Cove is open from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM and also usually requires a fee.
