The trail to the summit of Ragged Mountain is a moderately strenuous climb to an impressive overlook that offers views of the Camden Hills area and the ocean. The second half to the hike up is a steep and steady climb but worthwhile once you get to the top. This route starts the trailhead located off of Route 17 which is the most commonly used trailhead to access the mountain so parking can be sparse when the trail is busy.
