This long lake is near the boarder of New Hampshire and also connected to Lower Richardson Lake by a large channel called, The Narrows. The Narrows is the marked turnaround point to head back to the starting location, but one may certainly continue paddling into the lower lake if desired. There is a mixture of rocky, sandy, and marshy shores with natural scenery as its backdrop. This lake is dangerous under windy conditions and novice paddlers should avoid these waters.
