Taylor’s Island is a Wildlife Management Area as part of the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and features brackish water tidal marshland, rivers and creeks, forests, and freshwater ponds. This area is perfect for thousands of different critters that inhabit the area and provides great wildlife viewing opportunities to paddlers. There are many coves, guts, ponds, and streams to explore that will all add to the beauty of the trip.
