Located south of Sleeping Bear Dunes and just east off the shores of Lake Michigan, this small scenic lake offers clear blue waters for paddling and excellent beaches for swimming. The lake is surrounded by forest on one side and sandy beaches on the other. A short portage over a sandbar provides access to Lake Michigan for additional water for paddling, and when water is high a small channel leads right to Lake Michigan.
