Walloon Lake is a glacier-formed lake located in northern Michigan that offers multiple put-in sites and miles and miles of shoreline for paddling. Jones landing accesses the northeast arm of the lake. The lake's shoreline is mostly wooded terrain lined with lots of residential homes and cottages. The large lake is popular for many other types of water recreation so be cautious and watch out for larger boats on the lake.
