Walloon Lake is a large glacier-formed lake located just inland of Lake Michigan in northern Michigan that offers multiple put-in sites and miles and miles of shoreline for paddling. The put-in at Stolt Road accesses the northwest arm of the lake. The lake's shoreline is mostly wooded terrain lined with lots of residential homes and cottages. The large lake is popular for many other types of water recreation so be cautious and watch out for larger boats on the lake.
