The Apple Bottom road biking adventure is one of the classic rides of Minnesota. The ride begins by running through the beautiful Winona and then runs along some spectacular river bluffs along the Mississippi River. Atop the ridges there are spectacular views of the surrounding area and the Mississippi River. Especially scenic is the Hiawatha Apple Blossom Scenic Drive and the Historic Pickwick Mill. Be apprised that most of the roads are low traffic but there are a couple areas with moderate traffic; also, Highway 61 may have fast traffic.
