The trail on Baptism River to the Cascades waterfall winds through occasional conifers and heavy birch trees. There are wild strawberries that grow in the midst of moss covered rocks. Near the falls there is a flight of about sixty stairs that take you down to the river to a flack rock ledge that affords great views of the falls. The scenery around the falls is beautiful and is a great place to have lunch and enjoy the lull of the whitewater rushing among the rocks. There are wild roses, blue harebell and yarrow flowers that grow in the area around the falls.
