Alexandria has been called the "Birthplace of America" and home to Big Ole, a famous Viking. this road biking adventure runs past several of the 200 glacially made lakes in the Alexandria area. Most of the trip is through beautiful rural areas with rolling hills and some flat sections. Be apprised that while most of the trip is on low-traffic roads there may be some moderate traffic in Alexandria. Also, be aware that there is fast traffic on Highways 29 and 114.
