The Corundum Point Trail lies within the Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, which has the longest stretch of shoreline of any other state park on Lake Superior. The views atop Corundum Point offer some of the best panoramic views on the north Lake Superior shoreline. This trail is one of the longest and more difficult trails on the State Park Hiking Club list.
