This road biking adventure runs through an area that was made famous for a Jesse James bank robbery. Northfeild has been famous for its banks since their early existence ever since some of the banks were robbed by James himself. Today the town is known as a cultural and agricultural community. The route will take you through Nerstrand Big Woods State Park which will give you an idea of what the land looked like in the older days of the wild Midwest in the pre-1900s. Be apprised that there may be some fast traffic on Highway 246 and County Roads 30 and 22.
