Lake Wobegon is not a real town but a mythical creation from Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion". While the name is fictitious this road biking route has given the name some permanence. The landscapes on this route vary from contoured farm fields, hardwood forests, lakes and marshlands to rural rolling hills. Be apprised that while all of the roads are low traffic County Road nine will be likely to have fast traffic.
