Mille Lacs Lake or "Great Spirit Lake", is Minnesota's second largest inland lake and this road biking adventure offers the history and resounding beauty of the area. There are several cottage communities and historical sites along the shorelines of this Chippewa named lake. There are many lakefront communities that you will ride through, Kathio State Park as well as more than eighty resorts scattered along the way. Be apprised that when riding on Highways 27, 18 and 47 traffic can be fast.
