There is a variety of different landscapes that you will encounter on this road biking adventure, including aspen park-lands, acres of wheat farm fields, rolling hills, rivers and river bottom marshes. The route utilizes country roads until you reach the river crossing at high Landing, after which it circles back west and then north through Red Lake River and an old railroad town named by the Ojibwe "thieving land river".
