The Superior Hiking Trail is over 270 miles long and follows a rocky ridgeline on Minnesota's North Shore along Lake Superior. The trail has been touted as one of the countries top ten trails. The highlights of this hiking adventure include the beautiful forest views and the small lakes, Dyers and Ruffy Lakes. Each of these lakes offers descent fishing so bring a fishing pole. The forest that the path runs through is full of birch, aspen, pine, fir, and cedar. Be apprised that if you bring a dog it must be kept on a leash.
