There are over 30 springs that feed the river, including Greer Spring, which is the second largest spring in Missouri. Your put-in is in at the Highway 99 Bridge access at Thomasville. Your take-out is at the Greer Crossing Recreation Area access and campground. If the water is low at the Highway 99 Bridge, it is recommended that you put-in further down the river. The river offers several nice gravel bars for camping.
