Navajo Lake is the second largest lake in all of New Mexico and offers an excellent opportunity for all types of water recreation. The state park also features multiple campgrounds that can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs. Sims Mesa Campground is located on the east side of the lake and includes electric and non-electric sites that can fit units up to 36 feet in length. Sites are also equipped with picnic tables and fire pits/grills. Additional state park amenities include toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station, boat ramp, and more. State park sites vary in size and amenities so the price per night will vary as well. Nightly rates in the park are between $10-$60 per night and many of the sites can be reserved online before arrival.
