The Scioto River is the second largest drainage basin in Ohio with almost 200 miles of water to paddle. It was home to many Native American cultures and is now currently primarily used for farming and recreation. Beginning at OH 335 bridge this section flows 14 miles to Jasper where takeout access is river right. You can see the rugged hills of Shawnee State Forest in the far distance.
