The Little Grayback Trail is a gentle climb to astounding views. Crossing the southern slopes of Little Grayback Mountain, this trail gains 1400 feet with views on almost the entire trail of Squaw Lakes and the surrounding basins. Once on top of Grayback's lofty perch, views are outstanding in all directions with Mt. Shasta on the southern skyline and myriads of peaks like Mt. McLoughlin to the east and Pyramid Peak to the southwest.
