One of two volcanic plateaus with views over Rogue River Valley, Lower Table Rock trail is a moderate hike along a well-maintained trail to the flat overlook. Lower Table Rock is referring to the location along the river and not the height, as it is the tallest of the two rocks. This trail is a popular one in Rogue Valley and begins with shaded parts of the trail, but as the trail nears the edge of the cliff, shade is no longer available. In the Spring, wildflowers are found throughout the trail with over 200 species discovered along the rocks.
