Along the northern Oregon Coast just 5 miles south of Tillamook Bay lies Netarts Bay. This is a popular sea kayak location, as the tide still effects the bay, but there are not any waves. The bay is mostly clear and filled with sand along the bottom. On the east side of the bay are homes and some parks and the west side consists of overgrown sand dunes separating it from the ocean.
