Siletz Bay is a National Wildlife Refuge where red-tailed hawks, bald eagles, and other raptors can often be seen and a variety of estuary birds and waterfowl can be seen foraging in the waters just off the Pacific Ocean. This is a popular location to kayak in calm waters and discover the maze-like waterways of the bay. The best time to explore the waterways of Siletz Bay are during high tide, so check a local tide schedule.
