Starting just south of Squaw Lake, this trail leads through a thick mixed conifer forest to a small, but beautiful lake, Summit Lake on Elliott Creek Ridge. Along the trail are small water crossing and thus, aquatic plants. Various wildlife reside here included spotted owl, black bear and deer. Paths lead up to the ridge and provide beautiful views of the surrounding area and rolling hills.
