Takelma Indians once claimed these cliffs, but today they are a popular hiking destination to overlook the Rogue River Valley and to also get beautiful views of the Cascades. Named for their location along the river and not their height, the Upper Table Rock is actually the smaller of the two and an easier hike. Numerous species of wildflowers can be seen on the rocks in the springtime. Pack your water, as not much shade is available along the trail.
