The Yaquina River doubles in flow at Eddyville and frequently beds as it meanders toward the ocean. The shores are thickly lined with full trees and may cause debris in the river. The take out is just after the historic covered bridge, Chitwood, a bright read beautiful bridge to float under. You can stop here in Elk City or continue on downstream for a longer journey.
