The Swatara Creek has peaceful and slow-moving water and is great for enjoying wildlife and paddling. There are several islands along this stretch, where you'll find many waterfowl living and migrating. A large rock, called Blue Rock is along this route as well and is quite interesting and is thick with wildflowers in the spring. This creek is wonderfully clean and beautiful with thick trees lining the shores.
