Nickajack Lake lies along the Tennessee River Gorge and is known as the Grand Canyon of Tennessee. It offers a scenic backdrop for a variety of recreation like boating, fishing, waterskiing, swimming, camping and picnicking. It stretches 46 miles long with over 215 miles of shoreline to paddle and explore. Tennessee River Park stretches 10 miles along the river/lake offering a variety of activities. There is great opportunity to see a variety of birds and reptiles. The launch ramp is large with plenty of parking and restrooms.
