One of Texas’ highest peaks, the trail up Guadelupe climbs almost 3000 feet, making for a very challenging climb in the midst of what is generally considered to be a fairly flat State. The slope is fairly constant at abougt 16%, and the trail is about 4 miles long, making this a great place to get away for a hike or a run through the back hills.
