Lawless Area comprises a Wall, Cave, and Cove at Pecos River Gorge in West Texas. Pesos River Gorge is not well documented, but has some great climbing with a great view. Be cautious as per the many signs asking you to be aware of your surroundings because of frequent illegal activity in the area due to it's proximity to the border. Lawless Area contains a few moderate routes, but most are difficult. The best approach is from the top. Park near the closed campground and follow the path down the gully to rappel off the anchors to the base of the area. An alternative approach is to park at the bottom and follow the path for Slain Buffalo Wall.
