Emerald Pools Via Kayenta Trail | Washington County, Utah

Nice casual hike from Grotto stop to Middle and Upper Pools using the Kayenta trail. Most hike the lower Emerald Pools trail but it was closed when we were there. It stops at the middle pools which are small but beautiful. Continue another .3 miles up to the upper pools for a more impressive view. A large pool there collects a 100-150 ft waterfall. Relax and enjoy the shade there. The trail is well maintained and well traveled.
