This trail is known as a “hike and bike” trail because there are technical challenges that are just to difficuult to ride. You will have to walk portions of this trail. There is extreme cliff exposure, steep plunges, and a series of tall ledges. The trail skirts the edge of the Colorado River. Most people make a loop and ride out on the Amasa Trail.
