Mount Raymond is a classic hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon. The trail begins climbing steeply next to a stream with amazing fields of wildflowers. You will gain almost 1,000 ft in the first hour of the hike. The ridge to the summit requires some navigation and boulder hopping. It is not uncommon to find snow fields up top well into the summer months. Views of the surrounding peaks is excellent.
